Baba Banda Singh Bahadur (1670-1716): First Sikh General Martyr

Baba Banda Singh Bahadur was the first Singh King who established Sikh rule in a large part of Punjab. Banda was born on 16 October 1670 at Rajori Village in Jammu. Lachhman Das was his childhood name. He was born to Rajput parents. He was very fond of hunting in his early life. One he hunted a she dear who was pregnant.
